Welcome to the Pennridge Area Lutherans Cluster website.  The youth members of the cluster represent ten Lutheran churches in the Pennridge Area.

Youth Whirlwind II Event for Hurricane Katrina Relief
A Big Success! Almost $1,000 Raised!

We would like to thank everyone who made Whirlwind II possible; St. Andrew's, who allowed us to use their wonderful facility, youth of the Pennridge Area Cluster who planned and ran the event (and the adults who helped them), the musicians who so generously donated their time and talents, and those who attended the concert and had a great evening!  With Thrivent matching funds, close to $1,000.00 was raised for Lutheran Hurricane Relief. THANK YOU ALL!

APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT NEWS

ST. ANDREW'S AND TRINITY YOUTH TO PARTICIPATE IN APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT

From June 25 – July 2, 2005, about 30 senior high youth and adults leaders from Trinity Lutheran Church will join 20 youth and adults from St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church to take part once again in the Appalachia Service Project.  More...

SECOND YOUTH GROUPS TO PARTICIPATE IN
APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT

During the first week of August members of 3 churches will be working in Appalachia repairing homes under the Appalachia Service Project organization. 21 youth and adults will be stationed in Bluefield, West Virginia. The group was formed in October of 2004 and has been eagerly
aising funds and conducting team building activities.

From St. Matthew¹s: Rich Aichele, Richie Aichele, Alysa Fluck, Anton

Youth Whirlwind
A Big Success $1700 Raised!!!

Youth Whirlwind Tsunami Relief Benefit Featuring Local Youth Talent held on Saturday, April 23, 2005

Congratulations to our Youth and Adult Coordinators for a job well done in planning and executing the Youth Whirlwind event.  Approximately 250 teens and adult attended to listen to our local youth talent in support of a worthy cause.  The fund raiser raised over $1400 in donations to support the victims of December 26 Tsunami.  As a result Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will provide $300 in additional funding which gives us a grand total of $1,700.  Thank you to all who planned and attended this event to make it a big success.
