2008 Youth Calendar

UPCOMING YOUTH MINISTRY EVENTS
(for 6^th-12^th graders and their friends)

Sunday, November 2 - New Orleans Gathering participants meet in the church kitchen from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM to prepare pretzels for the Living Gifts Fair.

From 6:00 – 8:00 PM all youth and their friends are invited to meet at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church for an evening of large group games led by Sherry Burke, Ron and Nancy Smith.  Wear rubber-soled shoes and bring a snack or beverage to share.

Wednesday, November 12 – “Wednesday Night Live” for 7^th & 8^th graders, 6:30 – 8:00 PM in the Youth Room.

Saturday, November 15 – New Orleans Gathering and Appalachia Service Project Participants assist with Living Gifts Fair in Fellowship Hall, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Sunday, November 16 - Living Gifts Fair helpers needed to staff youth table from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Sunday, November 30 – Christmas Cookie Shoppe Opens.  Trip participants oversee table in the church parlor.

Monday, December 1 – Christmas Cookies & Care Packages.  Youth group members and their friends gather from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in Fellowship Hall to bake cookies and prepare care packages for our college students and military personnel.  Bring a batch of already-baked cookies and $3 for pizza.

Wednesday, December 3 – “Wednesday Night Live” for 7^th & 8^th graders 6:30 – 8:00 PM in the Youth Room.

 Youth Gift Certificates
Trinity's youth group members continue to sell gift certificates to Clemens's and Landis Supermarkets in the amounts of $10 and $20.  They are available for purchase in Fellowship Hall after the 8:00 AM service and in the library before the 10:30 AM service.  You may also stop by the church office during the week.  Your purchase will help to support our ongoing Youth Ministry programs.
